We'd love to meet you.
There are no meetings on storm days.
We're the place where you can learn how to effectively speak in public and practise those skills in a safe, supportive environment. The feedback you'll receive will build your confidence while it points out where you need to improve.
Our club is part of the Toastmasters network. Toastmasters has over 10,500 clubs, and more than 200,000 members in countries all over the globe. Since 1924, Toastmasters has trained some of the world's top communicators. Tim Allen (actor), Debbie Fields Rose (businesswoman, Mrs. Field's Cookies), Napoleon Hill (author and inspirational speaker), and Bill Bennett (former Premier of British Columbia) are just a few of the people that have taken part in our program.
Toastmasters helped me to realize my dream to lead 91 Toastmaster Clubs in the Eastern United States and Canada as District 45 Governor.
If you're in the greater Saint John, New Brunswick area, why don't you come to one of our meetings? Our meetings run from 7:00 pm to 9:05 pm every Tuesday night (except storm days, and holidays). We meet in the School Lunch Room at Parkland in the Valley on 19 Shannex Drive in Quispamsis, NB. We would love to have you attend our next meeting.
The mood in the room that night was extremely positive. The criticism, if any, was constructive. The friendliness made me believe I could and would reach my goals. I knew this group was exactly what I needed to significantly improve my communication skills at all levels!
The mission of the Kennebecasis Toastmasters Club is to provide a friendly,
positive and creative atmosphere; where members actively participate to improve
their thinking, listening, speaking and leadership skills. Effective, well organized,
productive meetings are conducted in a lively, fun-filled manner. Members are
challenged to achieve and surpass their personal goals through constructive
evaluation and feedback promoting improved self-esteem and confidence. Guests
and new members from the community are always welcome.
